If the partitions were deleted you need to create new partitions. My suggestion is using Recuva from Piriform and let it deep scna overnight.
how to recover partitions which were lost after upgrading to windows 11
hi there!
i upgraded my Lenovo IdeaPad laptop to windows 11 a few days ago and after that i am unable to access two partitions. they are detected but not accessible.
when trying to open them i get the error message " the file system encountered a metadata file with inconsistent data "
chkdsk cannot access the partitions. and says, "it could not be performed because windows cannot access the drive."
i checked the hdd with Lenovo vantage software and everything seems all right.
i tried to recover the partitions using minitool which took a while but was unable to recover them.
i also changed their drive letters from G and H to E and G but nothing changed .
disk management shows these two partitions as Healthy RAW Gpt and with all free space.
i have alot of data on these two partitions and they are almost full

RAW drive usually means the drive partition table has been corrupted. If there is important data on the drive, it is recommended to ask for help from the professional data recovery center directly. Any incorrect actions can potentially lead to data loss.
