Website not running with Server Error. See below. No change to coding was done and was site was up and now it is not and host provider says it is a script issue. Is this a hosting issue? How do I get site running? domain:classicautonetwork.com

This error message happens when there are multiple web.config files in a IIS application or not configuring an application or virtual directory correctly.

We cannot see your setup and you explained nothing about what you're trying to do.

Thanks. What can I send to see "setup"? What I am trying to do is get site running again. No code was changed and was running one day and then not running with error. Web host provider says it is script issue, I say it is a hosting issue?

Again, this error commonly happens when there is more than one web.config file in a web application. We see this error from time to time when a web application is added as a sub folder of an existing main application.

Check the folders and file on the host for web.config files in sub folders.

You can also try to solve it by clearing the \myWebApp\obj\Debug and \myWebApp\obj\Release directories.

You web.config appears to have been copied to a /backup folder in your site. Delete this web.config.
