Hi,

I have a user who is unable to move their RDP windows to a different screen.

Everytime he tries to drag the RDP window from his laptop screen to a connected monitor screen, the RDP windows becomes much smaller and won't move.

This function was working ok a few days ago. The OS is W11 Pro.

We tried disconnecting from the RDP connection, restarting the computer, updating the BIOS. The display driver is up-to-date.

Can you please assist?

Thanks

Adrian

    Hello,

Here are a few things to consider:

    1. You can try modifying the screen resolution, make all the windows the same resolution.
    2. Try to maximize your RDP windows before you drag it.
    3. While in the RDP session, navigate to the "Display" tab in the options and verify that "Display configuration" is set to "Use all my monitors for the remote session." Afterward, revert it to a single monitor if needed.
