Hi,

I seem to not be able to delete the subnet due to it being associated with an already-deleted App Service. Could you please assist me with this? This issue seems to be pointing at a similar problem.

Azure Virtual Network
Azure Virtual Network
An Azure networking service that is used to provision private networks and optionally to connect to on-premises datacenters.
Azure App Service
Azure App Service
Azure App Service is a service used to create and deploy scalable, mission-critical web apps.

    Hi,

Have you tried restoring the deleted web app into exact same resource group name, next navigating to Network blade, removing virtual network integration, then finally deleting the web app and subnet?

You can restore the web app by navigating to App Services in the portal and clicking on Manage Deleted Apps button.

    Thanks.

    Hi @Maksim Vorobev ,

did you get the same error message containing the serviceAssociationLinks reference?

If so .... @ChaitanyaNaykodi-MSFT any chance you can take a look here as well. It seems the same issue like in this thread: Unable to Delete Azure Virtual Network

    @Maksim Vorobev

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.

I understand that you are unable to delete a subnet because of a Service Association Link

This happens when the PaaS Resource is deleted before removing the integration to the Virtual Network.

In this case, we will require Azure Support to delete the lock on the VNET's subnet internally.

You informed us you were successfully able to delete the VNET with the help of Azure Support.

    Thanks,

    Kapil
