Create an Azure Synapse Analytics workspace. This can be done through the Home - Microsoft Azure

Lab 8 Setup:
1.Azure Synapse SQL Pools:

-Within your Synapse Analytics workspace, create SQL Pools for managing workloads.
-use the Azure portal.
-Navigate to the "Develop" tab and create a new SQL Pool.
-Configure the SQL Pool settings according to your requirements.

2.Sample Databases and Tables:

-Use T-SQL scripts to create databases and tables.
-You can use the Synapse Studio like Azure Data Studio to run scripts.

3.Data Loading:

-Load sample data into your Synapse SQL Pools for practicing data loading and transformation.
-You can use tools like Azure Data Factory to load data.

4.Developing and Managing Workloads:

-Use Synapse Studio to develop and manage your workloads.
-Write T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and other artifacts as needed for your workload.

Hi, in this section it mentions multiple pipelines. IE Lab 08 - Execute Data Analyst and CEO Queries Pipeline. And other as well. Where do I get these?

Below is a general guide to help you get started. Keep in mind that specifics may vary based on the exact requirements of your lab and the tools and versions you are using. we assume you already have an Azure Synapse Analytics workspace created.

Kindly Follow instructions for Data Analyst and CEO Queries Pipeline:

1.Data Analyst Queries:
Write SQL Queries:

Use SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data as required by the data analyst.
Test the queries in Azure Synapse Studio to ensure they provide the desired results.

Add Query Activities to Pipeline:

In your Azure Synapse Pipeline, add activities that execute the data analyst queries.
Use the "Data Flow" activity or "SQL Script" activity based on your requirements.

2.CEO Queries:
Executive Dashboard Queries:

Identify the key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that the CEO is interested in.
Write SQL queries to gather the necessary data for the CEO dashboard.

Add Query Activities to Pipeline:

Similar to the data analyst queries, add activities to the pipeline to execute the CEO queries.
Ensure that the results are presented in a format suitable for executive reporting.

3.Schedule and Monitoring:
Pipeline Scheduling:

Set up a schedule for the pipeline to run at regular intervals or in response to specific triggers.
