Is Azure Arc-enabled machines and Log Analytics workspaces must be in the same resource group for integration?

Hi ,

We have machines on boarded on Azure arc in different resource groups. We created separate Resource group for Log analytics workspace & sentinel.

Is  Azure Arc-enabled machines and Log Analytics workspaces must be in the same resource group for integration ? If it is different resource group what are errors we would face?

No - The Azure Arc VMs and Log Analytics workspace (to which these VMs will be connected to) need not be in the same Resource group.
