I accidentally deleted my admin account on Microsoft authenticator, and I am unable to access my account. Unfortunately, I had not set up two-factor authentication and when I try alternative ways to sign in, it takes me in circles on getting verification codes from the authenticator app

The phone number for support in Kenya (020 286 8800) also does not go through.

    Hi @Adrian Leitoro

You should ask another Global admin to register MFA on your account and as mentioned in the thread below:

    Using Azure Portal:

    • Sign in to the Azure portal with the tenant Global Administrator account.
    • Navigate to Azure Active Directory > Users > All users > Choose the user you wish to perform an action on > select Authentication methods > Require Re-register MFA.
    • Once this is done, the next time the user signs in, he/she will be requested to set up a new MFA authentication method.

reset and unblock MFA in Azure Active Directory

You'll need the account admins to reset the account so a new QR code can be generated with which you can relink the authentication device to your account.

If you are the admin (and blocked) then you can reach out to 365 global customer service here.
