Try updating or reinstalling the drivers for your Wi-Fi adapter. You can download the latest drivers from your manufacturer's website.
Run the Network Troubleshooter.

Since upgrading to Windows 10 (from 9) on desktop, wi-fi connection is erratic....either doesn't connect or disconnects after few minutes..most common error message: "Wi-fi adapter is disabled"......even when toolbar shows internet is connected???
