To block bad or bogus websites on Chrome and Edge browsers via Intune or Microsoft Defender, you can use the Web Content Filtering policy available in Defender for Business. To set up this policy, follow these steps:

From your description, I know that you want to block bad/bogus websites on chrome & edge browser via Intune or MS defender or using Web Content Filtering policy via Defender for business.

Based on my research, I found that you can create a configuration profile for Windows via Intune, and it will allow or block URLs where you find relevant.

I was looking for the way from Defender web content filtering policy as it has categories which can auto detect and block certain URL's and sites based on their content and reputation And the way you share is also useful but in that case we need to know what are those URL's and sites which we wanted to block on browsers via Intune.

Based on my research, there is no related feature auto detect and block certain URL's and site in Intune. However, you can refer the method @Ravi Kanth Koppala mentioned.
