Mapped drives slow loading of folders and files

Since moving to Windows 11, we're having issues with mapped drives and the time it takes to open files and folders. We never had the problem with Windows 10. Our settings have remained the same it's the OS that is different. Has anyone else had this issue?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Run a speed test to verify adequate bandwidth.

    See if firewalls are interfering with access.

    Update network drivers.

    Disable indexing on mapped drives.

    Try turning off Quick Access in File Explorer Options to see if it helps.

    Pause OneDrive syncing.

    Hi,

    When a slow connection problem happens, open the system built-in Resource Monitor tool and confirm the resource usage, making sure there is no abnormal resource usage.

    As you had mentioned that problem happens after system upgrading, try to update the driver to compatible with Windows 11 is recommended. You may set windows to install recommended updates or download and update the driver yourself. Reference below link for step-by-step information:
