I have changed an email account from one Azure tenancy to another separate tenancy. The email address has successfully moved to the next tenancy but my MS Outlook is still referencing the old tenancy. I cant get Outlook to find the email in the new tenancy as it defaults to . What do I do to fix this??

The web email account works fine (inbound and outbound) but the Outlook client doesnt work. I have kept the OST file but I cant open it without the Outlook client working.

I had two email accounts in Outlook, a personal email account (continues to work) but the corporate email account (the one that has moved tenancy) cant be added.

I have looked into the registry to see if the email account has association but there is nothing obvious to remove

    Hi @stuart admin

    Thanks for your reply!

What is your Outlook client version? Please make sure to update to the latest version.

Can your account be logged in to other M365 products, e.g. Teams, Word, OneNote, etc.

Try creating a new profile to add the account in question. Go to the Control Panel>Mail (Microsoft Outlook)>Show profiles>Add.

Once the profile is added, select the newly added profile > Properties >Email accounts>New>Fill in the account password (please make sure it is correct)>Next>Finish>Restart the Outlook client.
