Not able to share the app on CenterStage on New version of Teams.

We have a hosted app on Microsoft Teams called Funtivity, which allows us to share the app on CenterStage after starting an event for all the attendees. We've encountered a permission-related issue specifically when using the newer version of Microsoft Teams.

Error Details :


ERROR in getAppContentStageSharingState: {"errorCode": 1000, "message": "App doesn't have sufficient permission to use this API"}

Context:


  • The issue is specific to the newer version of Microsoft Teams.
  • The older version does not exhibit this problem.
  • We have verified that the app has the necessary permissions to use the API in question.

    I would like to seek confirmation on whether any specific fixes were implemented on your end subsequent to the ticket being raised. This information will greatly assist us in ensuring the continued smooth functionality of App, thereby preventing similar issues from arising in the future.
