Losing the dial pad when adding a 3rd party using Teams

When adding a 3rd caller to a Teams call, I lose the dial pad. That's not helpful if the 3rd party is a company that doesn't take voice commands and forces you to input a number or extension to get transferred. When will this bug get fixed and is there a work around?

I found that if you go back to the original dial pad and dial a new number it will place the current person on hold. You can then go through the prompts while the other person is on hold because the new call has the dial pad. Once you are connected you can hit the 3-button menu at the top right and merge the calls together. You can do this multiple times too. Personally prefer this because then the other person /persons don't have to hear you go through the menus anyways. Hope this helps someone.

When there are three or more participants in a meeting/call, the dial pad feature/functionality disappears/becomes unavailable, which is the current product limitation for Teams.

To get this feature more quickly, I have found a post in feedback collection website, and you could vote for it. I still do not find this to be a suitable response. Perhaps you are in a meeting with your first caller. You could be in a meeting with multiple callers. Which party is merged? Example, I am on a Teams meeting (not a call) with shared screen. I have some parties in person as a group, and other parties who join the meeting from their individual/respective computers. If I want to add someone to then add someone that requires phone prompts, it sounds like I can only add the original party to the new call, rather than the new/latest call to the meeting already in place. I could have settings in the meeting, such as record and transcibe that I would lose by adding/merging my original meeting attendees to the new call (if I can even add groups in this manner).
