    Hello chickenly

Here are some steps to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check for Facial or Fingerprint Recognition: Ensure that your mother hasn't set up Facial or Fingerprint recognition for Windows Hello. If she has, try using those methods to sign in.
    2. Troubleshoot Windows Hello on Windows 11: If you are facing problems with Windows Hello, you can troubleshoot the issue. Microsoft Support has a guide for troubleshooting Windows Hello, and you can find it here:Troubleshoot problems with Windows Hello - Microsoft Support
    3. Reset Your PIN: If she has forgotten PIN, select "I forgot my PIN" and follow the instructions to reset it. Make sure to choose the correct account if there are multiple accounts on the device. Change your PIN when you’re already signed in to your device - Microsoft Support Reset your PIN when you aren't signed in to Windows - Microsoft Support
    4. Remove PIN and Sign-In Options: How to Remove Your PIN and Other Sign-In Options from Windows 10 (howtogeek.com) To remove Windows Hello on windows 11

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please let me know, and we can explore further solutions.

You can use 'I forgot my PIN' at Settings app > Accounts > Sign-in options > PIN (Windows Hello). See if it helps.
