If you've signed up for Azure DevOps Starter using your Azure student account and are facing issues accessing it, here are some steps you can follow:

    1. Verify Azure DevOps Starter Activation:
    • Check your Azure portal to verify that Azure DevOps Starter has been activated successfully. Navigate to the Azure portal (https://portal.azure.com/), log in with your student account, and ensure that Azure DevOps Starter is provisioned.
    1. Access Azure DevOps Portal:
    • Once you've confirmed that Azure DevOps Starter is active, you can access the Azure DevOps portal separately. Go to https://dev.azure.com/ and sign in with the same credentials used for your Azure student account.
    1. Organization Creation:
    • During the first sign-in to Azure DevOps, you may need to create an organization. Follow the prompts to create an organization. This organization is a container for your projects and teams.
    1. Project Creation:
    • After creating the organization, you can create a new project within that organization. This project is where you manage your source code, work items, and builds.
    1. Permissions and Access:
    • Ensure that your Azure student account has the necessary permissions to access Azure DevOps and create projects. If you encounter any permission issues, check with your Azure administrator or contact Azure Support.
    1. Check for Errors:
    • If you are still unable to access Azure DevOps, check for any error messages or notifications in the Azure portal or DevOps portal. These messages may provide insights into any issues.
    1. Use Azure DevOps Documentation:
    • Refer to the Azure DevOps documentation for detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips.
    1. Contact Azure Support:
    • If you've tried the above steps and are still facing issues, consider reaching out to Azure Support for assistance. Azure Support can provide personalized help based on your specific situation.

    Note:

    • Azure DevOps Starter may have some limitations compared to the full Azure DevOps services. Ensure that your requirements align with the features provided by DevOps Starter.

If you encounter any specific error messages or issues during the process, providing more details could help in offering more targeted assistance.
