SharePoint IOS App, user cannot login

Hi

I have a user who cannot login to the SharePoint IOS App. All other Microsoft apps login correctly with MFA but for some reason the SharePoint App keeps popping up MFA code request which then says invalid for the code.

So I load up SharePoint ios app and then I click ‘Sign in to SharePoint Online’, enter the email address, it then goes to authenticator comes back, says setting up account (in SharePoint app), then goes back to authenticator saying please enter code. So I click get codes top right, copy the code, click done and paste the code in, then it says ‘You didn’t enter the expected verification code. Please try again’.

I've reset MFA for the user and uninstalled and reinstalled the app (well all Microsoft apps).

All other Microsoft apps work.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Anthony Yau,

Good day! Thank you for posting your concern in this Community.

Per the description shared, I understand your concern but it's related to SharePoint IOS App.

In fact, we are currently providing help on problems with SharePoint Web Side, and we lacked information and test environments for the SharePoint IOS application. Since we are not very proficient, given the complexity of your problem, we would recommend that you go to SharePoint iOS Community for more professional help, there will be very professional people to solve the problem for you quickly.

Thank you for your kind understanding.

    Hi @Anthony Yau,

Thank you for posting in this community.

Since your problem is most likely related to MFA, you can contact your administrator to first refer to this article on setting up MFA in SharePoint Online to confirm that setting up MFA is fine.

Additionally, I would add Azure tags so that the people involved with Azure can find your issue through the tags.

Thank you for your kind understanding.
