No codes to authenticator, so I'm locked out of tech support options.

My Authenticator app has stopped working entirely. I can't generate a code and no security notifications come through on their own, so I'm locked out of everything from my OneNote to tech support options.

I've tried:

• uninstalling & reinstalling the app multiple times => no change/reaction whatsoever

• clearing the cache of the app => ditto

• clearing the app data => at sign in it says my account doesn't exist

• begging home support for a way to get in touch with a person in business tech support =>

they either cut the chat off without attempting to answer, tell me to call the same phone # again & again even though I've explained it just cuts me off, send me videos about how to use chat support (which you have to sign into to access for cripes sake), or they tell me to contact an imaginary IT dept with my organization (I am the organization!).

What else can I try?

What the video shows is not the issue, probably because it refers to a personal account with less security. Same for the other methods. Mine refuses to use my personal account as a recovery account for my enterprise account. I even tried installing the Authenticator app on another phone to see if I could trick it into letting me in--but of course, I just get prompted (inside the stupid Authenticator app) to authenticate through the Authenticator app. I don't how many different ways I can explain it & there has to be a way to bypass this nonsense. Imagine I have the stupidest designed entry system to my car--the car ignition keys are magically locked in a safe anytime the car shuts off. So I have to open the safe & take out the car keys to get back in, right? Except now the safe, the key to the safe, & the silly car keys are all locked inside the car together. I'm trying to figure out how to break into the car & all the advice I keep getting is "Flick the headlights!", "Beep the horn!". Great work, everybody, but you can't do that from outside.
