Being an owner of the application does not necessarily mean you can edit any custom security attributes associated with it. You need additional permissions to do so, namely the Attribute Assignment Administrator role. Make sure you have the necessary permissions assigned, you might need to reload the portal for them to take effect.
Unable to edit the 'Custom Security Attributes' of the application.
I am unable to edit the 'Custom Security Attributes' of the application while editing it, despite being the only account in my application. Does anyone know how to set this up? Please guide me on how to do this. Thank you.

When it comes to assigning or removing custom security attributes for an application within your Microsoft Entra tenant, as mentioned by Vasil Michev, please ensure that you have:
- The Attribute Assignment Administrator Microsoft Entra built-in RBAC role assigned.
- Additionally, please make sure you have existing custom security attributes. To learn how to create a security attribute, see Add or deactivate custom security attributes in Microsoft Entra ID.
Note: By default, Global Administrator and other administrator roles don't have permissions to read, define, or assign custom security attributes.

I hope this helps!
