HELP!! meetingSidePanel in apps meetings is not working.

Question

Hi everyone,

I have tried to follow this document https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/platform/apps-in-teams-meetings/teams-apps-in-meetings but could not make our tab app appear in the sidepanel during meetings. I have also used manifest for developer review. Could anyone take a look into the app https://teams.microsoft.com/l/app/bcc1e759-7012-456f-9ec6-d60855078456?source=store-copy-link and please let me know if I missed any configs to make the tab appear in the side panel. I really appreciate if you could provide me the sample code for this feature.

Hi @Thien Nguyen Hoang

If You're using operating system any other than windows check first if that supports or not. In windows also it only supports in Desktop App.

If You're using Windows and desktop app. follow below steps.

1. Refer this link.
2. After this setup Go to teams. Add app in calendar meeting/edit.
3. Join meeting. you'll able to see add an app option.
4. Add your app. Now you'll able to see your custom app in side panel.
