I'm trying to sign in for my work or school account (.onmicrosoft.com account)

and then it requires me to put in the numbers that my authenticator app shows me.

when I open the app to sign in, the app itself also requires me to put in the numbers that the authenticator app shows me, even when I'm trying to do so by signing in.

I reinstalled my application multiple times, restarted my phone, almost tried every typical solutions to these kind of problems. (I'm using iPhone btw)

I also asked here about this and they answered me that I can choose the option not using the authenticator app to sign in. (like through my email and stuff)

I know they work for my private account, but those options don't show up in my case (maybe because its work or school account)

Every options to sign in required to be signed in at the authenticator app.

Let me know the solution if u know any. I've been purchasing unwanted MS365 for 2 monthes already

    Hi,

Sorry to hear that you have this issue, ideally you should have another account as a backup in case the primary account have issues, it is known as breakfix account. However in this instance if you are the only admin of the tenant the only way to recover is to call up global numbers and provide the ownership and identity proof of the tenant that you own it.

    Hope this helps.
