Hi Leks ter Schuur, Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A! Unfortunately its not possible to transfer Entra ID licenses from one tenant to another, or to share the same license with another tenant. One option would be to cancel one license in the main tenant, and purchase one license in the secondary tenant. Or if you need all the licenses in the main tenant then purchase one P1 license in the secondary tenant. Do let me know if you have any further queries or concerns, I would be happy to help. Kind Regards, Donal
Use paid features in secondary Entra ID tenant
When I create a secondary Entra ID, its license is set to 'Microsoft Entra ID Free'. My main Entra ID has license 'Microsoft Entra ID P1'.
I'm trying to use paid features in the secondary tenant. The feature I'm specifically interested in is adding Groups to an Enterprise Application. This succeeds when I'm in the main (P1) tenant. However, it fails in the secondary (Free) tenant. The message is 'Groups are not available for assignment due to your Active Directory plan level. You can assign individual users to the application.'
I understand that paid features are not available in free tenants. I am wondering if the secondary tenant could somehow inherit the licencing tier from the main tenant?
