How to remove a button assigned to a macro that no longer exist ?

I assigned a macro to a button and wanted to make changes and deleted the macro now the button can't be deleted.

    Oh man, dealing with those lingering buttons can be a headache! If you're stuck with a button after deleting the macro, first, make sure you're on the Developer tab in Excel. Click that "Design Mode" toggle and see if you can right-click on the button to delete it. If that's not doing the trick, check out the "Selection Pane" in the Developer tab—it might give you a better view of all the objects on your sheet, including that stubborn button.
