You can try to repair the Office application and re-archive it manually to see if the problem persists.
If you want to free up your Outlook storage space, you can Create an Outlook Data File (.pst) to save your information. You can also try the following methods to compress OST and PST file size:
- Empty the Deleted Items folder and delete any items you don't want to keep.
- Use Outlook's option to compress to compress OST files: Click File > Account Settings > Account Settings, under the Data File tab, select the OST data file you want to compress, click Settings > Advanced > Outlook Data File Settings, click Compress Now, and then click OK.
