Skip updates with Azure Update Manager

Good Morning, Anyone knows if its possible to skip updates in Azure Update Manager? I dont want that assessments in my machines detects a missing KB for example KB5034439 because then it tells me that there is 1 missing update and I dont want to apply this KB. Is it possible? Thank you!

Hi, It is not possible to tell the assessment that it should not show you specific KB(s). However when you schedule updates you can choose to exclude certain updates (KBs) by number. Additionally you can choose which classifications you want to apply updates from as well.

This KB5034439 and all similar ones that do not apply to Azure Virtual Machines must be automatically excluded in Azure Update Manager.

There should also be a single place to exclude KB and not modify each existing maintenance configuration.

KB5034439 is precisely an excluded update.

This, and all the excluded ones, should not be counted as "pending updates". I also back up @Juan Carlos Betancourt idea, there should be a common list for excluded KBs - or something like "maintenance profiles" that can be applied to several maintenance configurations.

Is there any update on this? I have the same problem and it repeatedly fails the maintenance runs because the update cannot be installed but I also cannot exclude it from the assessment. This causes the SecureScore to drop because of missing system updates.
