It seems based on your requirements, you chose the correct option. "Preview" will generally mean that features and services aren't entirely finalized, and things may change between now and when it goes GA. It also means you could encounter limited support if something goes wrong. I would check out this page that details what features are supported now.
Using "Customer (Preview)" tenant for production?
Hello, we've recently set up a tenant to provide an app to customers to easily sync up their entra-id userbase to our product. During the creation dialog for the tenant, we had the choice of either "Workforce" or "Customer (Preview)" tenant. As the Customer variant listet seamless authentication as a feature in its description, we opted for that. Now I found a post here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/72110301/what-does-it-mean-to-have-azure-service-tagged-with-preview-is-it-okay-to-st warning about using "(Preview)" tagged services for production. Should we have created a Workforce tenant instead for our app? I'm not entirely sure about the distinction. Thanks for the help, Best, David
