I can't connect to the Virtual Machine using RDP on my PC, but it opens on my friend's PC.

  • I'm getting an "Internal error occurred" message when trying to connect to my Azure VM using RDP on my computer. My friend can connect using their computer, so I'm not sure what's wrong. I've tried
  • Reset Remote Desktop configuration.
  • Check Network Security Group rules / Cloud Services endpoints.
  • Review VM console logs.
  • Reset the NIC for the VM.
  • Check the VM Resource Health.
  • Reset your VM password.
  • Restart your VM.
  • Redeploy your VM.. Please help!

    Hi , firstly check the network connectivity between your PC and Azure VM if it is ok then Try using the IP address directly instead of the hostname in the RDP client and also Update your Remote Desktop client to the latest version.

    Even if it does not work , please share the detailed error logs
