iOS 14 Outlook Issues

I work for an IT company and we have STEADILY gotten tickets regarding users not being able to get into their emails (Outlook) on their iPhones. We have found one fix that seems to work for most, but we have had a few users that have gotten some kick back. Our fix thats been working for us has been: First thing you need to do is log out and remove the account, when you go back in to add it choose to manually configure, then use outlook.office365.com as the server and your email address as the username and password is the password for your account. Like I said, we've had success with these aside from just a few people, but we had one user lose contacts in their phone after removing their account. Have they released any news on when a fix for this can be expected? Its been close to 2 months now, I believe? I would love to hear what has worked for you to get this issue resolved.
