How to get 6 digits from authenticator app instead of 8 digits?

The Authenticator application return with 8 Digits instead of 6 Digits for my personal account I also tried to remove the account from application twice and add it again. In addition I turned off the two step authentication and turned on again with no luck to solve the problem

    Lemme help you out here, follow the below steps.

    If you have the account already on MS Authenticator then remove it!

    1. Go to your MS account https://account.microsoft.com/
    2. Scroll down until you find "Security", expand the section and find and click the link "Additional security options".
    3. A little way down the page click the link "Add a new way to sign in or verify".
    4. Select "Use an app" from the popup dialog.
    5. click the link in the body text "set up a different Authenticator app." and you will be presented with a QR code
    6. Open the MS Authenticator app on your phone click the "+" to add an account, then click "Other (Google, Facebook, etc) Scan the QR code. Hope this helps, kindly accept the answer if it did thanks much.
