Prezados, bom dia.

Obrigado.

Hello Rodrigo R Moraes, Thank you for posting in Q&A forum. Based on your error message, your forest functional level must be 2008 or higher. The domain functional level must be at or above the forest functional level.

In your screenshot, I can see the domain functional level is 2008 R2.

You can check the forest functional level by running commands below. User's image If forest functional level is lower than 2008. You can upgrade your forest function level on the DC by right-clicking on the domain name in your AD management center and selecting the forest function level. I hope the information above is helpful. If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know. Best Regards, Daisy Zhou

Based on the error message provided in the image, it seems that the version of the Active Directory schema of the source forest is not compatible with the version of Active Directory on the target server. To resolve this issue, you need to ensure that the ADPrep.exe tool version matches the version of the target server. For Windows Server 2022, you need to use the ADPrep.exe tool version 21.2. You can verify the operating system support level of the schema by looking at the value of the Schema Version registry subkey on a domain controller. You can find this subkey in the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NTDS\Parameters. You can also verify the operating system support level of the schema by using the Adsiedit.exe utility or the Ldp.exe utility to view the objectVersion attribute in the properties of the cn=schema,cn=configuration,dc= <domain> partition. The value of the Schema Version registry subkey and the objectVersion attribute are in decimal.
