I have Outlook version 2312 Build 17126-20126. When I click on an email in the inbox, a trash basket and a flag icon appear at the right end on the email. But when I remove my finger or the stylus the icons disappear. I would expect these icons to remain so I could use them. But they don’t stay even if I use one finger to hold on the message and use another finger to select the trash can it does not function, but the trashcan and the flag disappears. Is there a fix to this problem that I can apply?

It seems that you are having trouble using the trash basket and flag icon in Outlook. This could be due to a glitch or bug in the software. One thing you could try is to repair your Outlook installation. To do this, go to the Control Panel, select Programs and Features, find Microsoft Office in the list of installed programs, and select Change. From there, you can choose to repair your installation of Outlook. If this doesn't work, you could try resetting your view settings in Outlook. To do this, go to the View tab, select Reset View, and choose the view you want to reset. This should restore the default settings for that view.

    I hope this helps!
