I get "You do not have permission to access \"computer WS(work station)". Contact your network administrator to request access." Private network of 3 computers connected by cable to the router. The main computer is used as a server for quickbooks. The WS computer is the same model as the server. Both win 11. Both Ethernet. The work station WS and the WS2 are both in "view computers and devices" But WS can not be accessed while WS2 can be access from the main (acting as server) Network discovery is on. File and printer sharing is on. Password protected sharing is off. The file that WS needs to access in the server has all the permissions for everyone, system, Batch (don't know what this is), administrator, interactive, & service at "full control". File is NOT set at "read-only" . Owner: Administrator. Shared with: Everyone . Attibutes: A Please help. I don't know much about computers or networks. Should I delete the network and start a new one? Repair windows (How?) Thank you

    Apologies, Gabriel,

I find the information a bit unclear. Can you assist me in gaining clarity? Is your device setup similar to the following?

A: The primary computer serving as a QuickBooks server. B: Workstation WS1 (facing issues accessing the server). C: Workstation WS2 (able to access the server).

Are you currently experiencing the problem where WS1 (B) cannot connect to the server (A), while WS2 (C) can? Is A specifically designated as the primary server for QuickBooks and file sharing?
