Why am I being told my data will be deleted in a week due to expired subscription, when I have paid for renewal last November?

I paid for a renewal and received a confirmation email: "You've successfully enrolled in the Microsoft Action Pack subscription. Your enrollment lasts from November 1, 2023 to October 31, 2024." I went to the action pack and followed the instructions for activating a user on the subscription, and that appeared to work. However I am still getting messages about my data being deleted. It says to raise a ticket, but my subscription doesn't allow me to. If my data is deleted I guess my only avenue is to start legal proceedings to get my money back. There is literally no-one I can talk to.
