Hi Matthew, What version of Windows 11 are you using? Is it Home or Pro, if it is Home this is expected, Policies and Gpedit.msc are available in Pro SKU & up creating the policy regkeys will not apply on Home SKU Hope this helps,
STUMPED: GPedit.msc
I tried to open GPedit.msc but the file did not exist.
I created a new GPedit.msc
I opened GPedit.msc through +Run
I navigated to: Administrative Templates>System>???
The "Ctrl+Alt+Del Options" do not exist.
Because "Ctrl+Alt+Del Options" do not exist I cannot edit "Remove Lock Computer" and enable Win+L again.
**
Secondly
I tried opening "regedit" in +run and navigated to
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
to open "DisableLockWorkstation" to make sure its value was set to 0
When I navigated to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
I found out there there is no "Explorer" or "System" folder under "Policies"
I tried creating a new "Key" called "System" then created a new "DWORD (32-bit) Value and naming it "DisableLockWorkstation" and setting its Value Data to 0 as hexidicimal.
This did not work.
I tried with a (64-bit) value and it did not work as well.
I do not know how to obtain the files required to make my "Win+L" or any Win+?? action work again for that matter. Please help me solve this issue as I have done what I know how and I cannot find any other options/resolutions. Thank you..

Firstly, it's odd that you couldn't find the "Ctrl+Alt+Del Options" in GPedit.msc. Have you checked under "User Configuration" as well? Sometimes certain policies can be located there. However, if it's truly missing, we might need to explore alternative solutions. Regarding regedit, it appears that the expected folders under Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies are not present. This could indicate that certain system configurations might be affecting the visibility of these folders. Creating a new "System" key and then adding a DWORD value named "DisableLockWorkstation" should theoretically work, but it's odd that it didn't. Sometimes, changes made in regedit might require a system restart to take effect. Have you tried that? As for obtaining the necessary files, usually, the operating system should have these files by default. It's quite unusual for them to be missing. Have you recently made any system changes or installed/uninstalled any software that might have affected these settings? If none of the above steps seem to work, you might consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for more targeted assistance. They might have additional troubleshooting steps or insights that could help resolve this issue.
