I want to use Azure AI Document for ID card data extraction. I want to understand that for the standard tier, there are $10 per 1,000 pages charges. Now what if I exceed these page limits? What will happen?

If you exceed the page limit of 1000 pages in your Azure AI Document Intelligence service, you will be charged $10 per 1,000 pages for further requests. The service will continue to respond to API requests, but you will be charged for the additional pages.
