azure ad & and ADDS wont work together

Hello i have created a ADDS using the document provided and created the vm and downloaded the management tools. now i am adding a client vm so i can use other credentials with less access to log in but it wont let me. I think the IAM isnt working and the Azure AD and ADDS wont work together. When i tired to connect the new VM to the domain it said i had to disconnect it from azure AD before i could add it to the domain.

    @kurtis done Hybrid join is not supported by AAADS as it syncs from AAD and never writes back. And yes you need to unjoin from AAD to join it to AADDS.
