I am trying to provision Azure Cosmos DB integrated cache in North Europe region for my cosmos db account which is already there. But I get the following error. I don't have zone redundancy enabled.

The requested region 'North Europe' does not support AZ provisioning yet. Please try other regions or disable zone redundancy for this region. Can somebody kindly help? Thanks

    @manisha

The account you provided has availability zone enabled in North Europe.

There is limited AZ capacity and dedicated gateway is not available with availability zones.

We recommend you test the dedicated gateway in preprod for an account without availability zones first to verify it is a good fit for your workload.

Also let us know if AZ is a blocker for your workload and the regions that you are interested in.

    Regards,

    Oury

The Azure Cosmos DB integrated cache can support availability zones (AZ) in the same regions as Azure Cosmos DB. According to the documentation, availability zones are currently supported in the following regions:

    • Central US
    • East US 2
    • West US 2
    • West Europe
    • North Europe
    • Southeast Asia
    • Japan East
    • Australia East
    • UK South
    • Canada Central

You can enable zone redundancy by selecting one or more regions that support availability zones. As an example, West Europe could be.
