External user can’t access ”Notes” in a Team in Teams after changing the OneNote-site name

Hi,

I have a private team in Teams, let’s call it ”Test Team 1”.
In this private team, I am the Owner and I have invited an external user.
I have also created a OneNote-tab in this Team, under ”Notes”.

Recently, I changed the name of this OneNote-tab and after that, the external user is not able to open the ”Notes”.

**The external user gets the following error:

If we translate the error code from Swedish to English, it says:

Unable to retrieve your notebooks.
SessionId: 4bcd9717-f606-45e8-a346-d7660a3cfcb9
Thu, 15 Feb 2024 08:31:16 GMT Error response: The request does not contain a valid authentication token. Detailed error information: {0} Error code: 40001 This happens both in the Teams-app and on the web version.

The following have been tested:

-Log out of the external users account in the Teams-app and then log back in.
-Checked the third party cookies (I’ve read that it can has something to do with the problem).

-Remove the external user from the Team and then inviting back in.
-I tried inviting another external user who sadly have the same problem. Would be very grateful for any tips or pointers! //Andreas Bjelvén

    I have experienced something similar with a user in my company. I don't know if the OneNote tab name has been changed, though. The only thing I found was a Reddit thread about a similar issue about a year ago, which suggests it's on MS's end.

    We had the same issue but it is now working for our guest users to open OneNote today.
