Unable to recover

Question

Hi, I recently got a new Android phone and sold my old Android phone.

I tried to restore the backup from the Microsoft Authenticator app on the new phone but the app shows "Unable to recover.Your backup is not stored with XXX,Try signing in to a different personal Microsoft account." So, I tried all my account aliases, but the app shows the same message. What should I do？ Also, I submitted feedback(Incident ID:FE5Z8UAH), but days have passed and I haven't received a response.

It's not working. Microsoft Authenticator is not finding my backup. It's not working. Microsoft Authenticator is not finding my backup. Mine and my wife's backup won't work. Before uninstalling the app to show her how to do it, the last backup was on September 24, 2024. Now when I log in, I can't find it. 🤡
