Will I forfeit my free credit if I upgrade my subscription to pay as you go?

My free trial account has some quota limitations and I need to upgrade my subscription to pay as you go to be able submit a new limit request. I would like to know if I will not forfeit the remaining free credit I have after upgrading it.

So typically, when you upgrade from a free trial subscription to a pay-as-you-go subscription in Azure, you won't forfeit any remaining free credit. The unused portion of your free trial credit should be carried over to your pay-as-you-go subscription.
