I am not able to join the Microsoft the developer program to complete the task on the training module of Microsoft 365 tenantMust I join with my work email in order to join?

According to the screenshot you shared, it looks like you haven't opened a developer account because this needs to sign in with a developer account. Here is a document about how to open a developer account: Opening a developer account

Besides, for questions about the developer account, I'd suggest that you could ask in Register and Manage Account Forum.I understand that you are trying to merge Microsoft 365 E5 Developer subscription and Azure subscription under work email. To answer your question, the Microsoft 365 E5 Developer subscription and Azure subscription are two different services, and they cannot be merged. Microsoft 365 Developer Program subscription is only for developing and testing your solutions independent of your production environment.

@Londiwe Mahlangu, - If you have already deleted your account, it won't allow you to create or join any tenant.

I think, you will have to create new account & then create your demo tenants.
