For Google Policies in Intune, when trying to import GoogleUpdate.admx it fails (Solved)

We are trying to add a larger set of Google Chrome Polices to InTune in order to better manage Chrome Enterprise Browser on Windows devices. We are able to import google.admx but not GoogleUpdate.admx That one just fails even though we import google.admx first. We are Not a hybrid Azure/OnPrem org, just fully Azure, so no on prem domain controllers are involved.

Here is the short answer We needed to import Windows.admx and Windows,adml files first. The errors have to do with Dependencies listed in the Google and Chrome ADMX files, I will show you this here: <policyNamespaces>
<target namespace="Google.Policies.Chrome" prefix="chrome"/>
<using namespace="Google.Policies" prefix="Google"/>
<using namespace="Microsoft.Policies.Windows" prefix="windows"/>
</policyNamespaces> If having trouble with any import of policy files in Intune, you should open the file in a text editor and search for policyNamespaces and see what dependencies are related to the policy yo want to import to Intune. In our case we had to import Windows.admx, then google.admx, then GoogleUpdater.admx, then finally chrome.admx All of these will require the related adml file for default language. Windows.admx can be found on a win 11 machine in C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions
