Authenticator does not generate a 6 digit code

Question

I was hacked on my facebook account and in order to get my account back, it’s asked for me to write a six-digit code in my Authenticator app. So I go to my authenticator app and there is no six digit code. I have been trying for almost 24 hours and nothing happens. I cannot have my facebook account back like this. I need help
