I have this error from my client: 2012R2 DT

Code: 80072EE2

and wupdate.log :

Wsus: 2016 DT
V: 10.0.14393.2969

    Thanks for your posting on this forum.

    The error code's explanation is below:
    0x80072EE2 -2147012894 ERROR_INTERNET_TIMEOUT The request has timed out.

    It seems that the Windows Server 2012R2 client fails to connect to the WSUS now. It is recommended to configure the Application Pool as the link first.

    And then we could try to clean up the database.
