When clicking on ellipsis the options jumps or shows in a different location

Question

Recently we migrated the application from SP2010 to SP2016 on Premise. When I click on the ellipsis next to the document/folder in the library the options are not displayed next to it. Highlighted is the ellipsis options that are displayed at the top left of the page. Please advise.

Does the same thing happen in other libraries?

If this is the case in all libraries, try to create a new library, it may be damaged during the migration process.

If the new library has the same situation, please click ellipsis to monitor whether there is any related error information in the ULS log.

check also errors in browser console log (F12 > console). It looks like client side issue which may be caused by javascript or css issues
