From your describtion it sounds like you have done everything correctly, I might just leave it for another 24hours if possible and then try a new sync manually from the MEM portal and see if anything changes.
the most common issue when setting the Msfb up with Intune is that many forget to activate Intune from the Msfb portal but you have done that.
The next step would be to do a support request to Microsoft from the MEM portal.
