I updated to Windows 10 Home, Version 2004 on a Samsung Book 12 LTE,no SIM card installed. Multiple GPS applications no longer function including GPS satellite, Sensors and GPS reverse for legacy comm port applications. Sensor Info otherwise known as Sensor Explorer does not show a location sensor in the sensor list. Device manager states the Broadcom GNSS 4752 device is functioning properly and the driver is dated 2015. I enabled location access for GPS satellite in Privacy settings. Sensor explorer does not appear as a selection.

I was using Windows version 1903 and the GPS location was functional. The tablet did an automatic update to 2004 and GPS location stopped working.

The geolocation service was "running", start mode was "manual (trigger start)". I stopped the service and restarted it and location was now available to the "GPS Satellite" app. I set the start mode to automatic, repowered the tablet and the GPS location was now available and working properly.

The bug introduced in 2004 is apparently in properly starting the GPS location service. Thank you for your assistance.

Try to see if there is an update the Broadcom GNSS 4752 driver.

Take a look at a community around the location services: Location service settings Windows 10

Also you should add a tag Windows-10-setup as your are using Windows 10 Home and not Windows 10 IoT Core

The driver is up to date according to the Samsung update software.

The question is if Microsoft stopped supporting GPS devices in version 2004 since Sensor Info doesn't show a location device in the list. The documentation for sensor info states it will detect a location device.
