Hi,

I have 3 external monitors connected to my laptop.

When I screen share in Teams I have a problem where the screen numbering is Teams is not the same as Windows Screen numbering.

So for example

My Laptop Screen is recognised in Windows Display as 1 but in MS Teams when screen share is tit is labelled as Screen 2 (this is extended)
My monitor that is classed as my main display in Windows Display is 4 but in in MS Teams when screen share is tit is labelled as Screen 1
My monitor that is classed as an extended view in Windows Display is 2 but in in MS Teams when screen share is tit is labelled as Screen 3
My monitor that is classed as an extended view in Windows Display is 3 but in in MS Teams when screen share is tit is labelled as Screen 4

Any ideas?

Apart from not having multiple monitors !

    @Harrison, Andy ,

    I tested in my lab. The monitor number is different between Teams and Windows Display.

    As I know, there is no relationship between them.

    I have created a feedback about this feature by this link: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/41929087-when-screen-sharing-the-number-of-multiple-displa. You could vote for it.

    Microsoft will always focus on customer’s feedback and experience. Some new features would be added to the services based on customers' feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for them to improve the service.

    Your time, understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.
