Issue with lookup column in SPMT tool

I try to migrate list from SP On-prem to SPO and get error "Reason: The list reference is broken. The lookup field 'XXXXXX' cannot find the referred list. But list is exist and references work. How I can fix this problem?

I have tested and the lookup column been migrated successfully.

When I migrated the target list which has lookup column, the source list also has been migrated into SharePoint online automatically.

Please check the version of SharePoint Migration Tool. You could try to uninstall it then download this version to migrate.

Hello Emily Du-MSFT. Thanks for your answer. Yes, I have the last version of the tool. And usually I have not problem with migration lists that have lookup columns, but only with this one for now. And what is the reason? And how I can resolve this issue?

How many items in the source and target list?

Try to migrate an entire site, compare the result.

In the source list ~ 6000 items, the destination list is empty. I can't migrate an entire site, it contains a huge size unneeded data.

The issue may be caused by too many items in the source list.

I suggest you first migrate the source list into SharePoint online, then create a new target list with lookup column in the SharePoint online.

The problem still exists. This is not caused by many items in the source list. I successfully migrated another list containing about 20,000 items.
