Moving mail from on-prem archive back to mailbox

Hi I enabled archiving for an Exchange 2016 server, which creates a 100GB archive and 80GB of emails were moved into this archive. We exported the archive to a PST, however the user cant read the 80GB pst file, showing no emails. Is there a way to move the emails from the on-prem archive back into the mailbox, so I can archive a smaller amount of emails that can be exported to a pst? The end result is to migrate this mailbox to the cloud, but the size of the mailbox is too large for this to occur. Thanks

Hi @Patr_UK As mentioned in the link, there is no built-in method for this. You may either need to use Outlook to manually move the emails back or use EWS scripts.
