Hello, Im facing quite serious issue: Users need to send mail as distribution group ... I created Universal Distribution group localy, in AD. In security tab, I added users and give them permision to send as ... when I look to Exchange admin center, i can see group, members and also all delegates Image However, when someone is trying to send email as, they recieve error about permisions, problem occurs in web app, desktop app and also mobile app. user is not able to send email as group at all.     Is it Exchange hybrid deployment? If yes, are the users and groups both in Exchange on-premise server?What is the version of Exchange server?

    Did all the delegates have this issue?

    Does the issue only occur to this DG? If you create a new distribution group, does the issue persist?

     

    You could test to grant the send as permission using powershell:

    Get-DistributionGroup -Identity "YourDistributionGroupName" | Add-ADPermission -User "UserEmailAddress" -ExtendedRights "Send As"

      

    In addition, if this is hybrid deployment, please note that cross-premises Send As permissions aren't supported. However, Send As will work in most scenarios if you manually add the Send As permissions in both environment.

    Hello, thanks for reply.

    Unfortunately, its not help. Permision are set up correctly - or it seems like that. I can see delegates in online xchange center... or in AD in security tab.

    All delegates have issue. Also new group (created on-premis) has this issue. I noticed, there is only one delegate to pick up in web GUI ... i can't set any1 else. I can set them via command, via AD - but it not works - it still return same error.
